Jairo has an outstanding career of more than 20 years in Tax Law and Asset Management consolidating himself as a reference in national and international tax advice and planning especially in the financial and capital markets sector.

In his professional experience, he has worked with Dirección de Impuestos y Aduanas Nacionales (DIAN)/National Tax and Customs Office, as well as in multinational firms in the areas of taxes and legal services. He has distinguished himself as a professor in Tax Law graduate studies and the Master’s degree of Economic Law at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. In addition, he taught the International Tax Management graduate studies program at Universidad EAFIT and in several ColCapital courses.

Jairo is a recurring speaker at national and international forums and seminars in the public and private sectors. In addition, he has contributed his knowledge through the publication of articles on tax issues in various national media.

He is a founding partner and director at Jiménez Higuita Rodríguez & Asociados, now Esguerra JHR.
