Guillermo Cáez brings over 15 years of experience representing domestic and international corporations in high-stakes litigation before national courts and both domestic and international arbitration tribunals. His practice is centered on the strategic resolution of civil, commercial, and administrative disputes, with a strong focus on contractual conflicts, liability claims, consumer protection matters, and unfair competition.
He has successfully led complex proceedings across a broad range of regulated and unregulated industries, consistently combining sound legal analysis with a pragmatic, business-driven perspective. Guillermo also advises clients at the precontractual and contractual stages, identifying legal risks and designing preventive strategies aligned with each client’s operational and reputational objectives.
He serves as an arbitrator at the Arbitration and Conciliation Centers of the Chambers of Commerce of Bogotá, Medellín, and Cali. In addition to his legal practice, Guillermo sits on the Board of Directors of Club Metropolitan in Bogotá, is the founder of the Latin American Entrepreneurs Association, and is a regular columnist for leading legal and business publications.
