He has advised companies from various industries in the field of Labor and Social Security Law providing opinions and litigating for more than 2 decades.

Among the companies he has provided advice or handles labor-related processes are Avianca, BCSC, BOG Hotel, Este es mi Bus, Gran Américas, Gimnasio Moderno, Drilling and Workover Services, Club Pueblo Viejo, among others. Also, during his time at DG&A, he advised companies, such as ETB, IBM, and Braun Medical.

Luis Felipe Bonilla also worked at La Previsora where he served as General Secretary and General Manager. He provided his services to EPS Cafesalud where he held the position of Legal Advisor and gained in-depth knowledge of the social health security system.

He has extensive experience in the academic field. He was a professor at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in individual, collective labor law, and social security.
